Suzy home-maker meets the ladies of Mad Men. The look that's gracing the runways for fashion week is tailored, structured and a throw back to the 50's. Lace, light tweed and flowers make this trend feminine and fun.
The styles are flattering for most body shapes as they bring curvy hourglass silhouettes to dresses, overcoats and skirts.
Sheath dresses, fit-and-flare skirts and tailored coats are top of the must buy list for spring.
If you really love this trend, try tweed blazers in light spring colours like lemon, pink, baby blue and camel; brocade overcoats or skirts; Chantilly lace on dresses and tops or a cap sleeve knit sweater in the pastel spring colours; but certainly not all at once.
The key here is to introduce one retro inspired piece to your modern wardrobe, unless you want to look like you're wearing a costume.
