Betty's Liberty Closet Gives A Fresh Start
Posted on July 05 2012
Jenna* had the courage to escape sexual exploitation and start her life new at Deborah's Gate safe house operated by The Salvation Army.
She is the recipient of funds which fill up Betty's Liberty Closet every time fashion and accessories are purchased from bettybegood.ca. Jenna is going back to school this summer and wanted to feel more 'at home' in her own clothes.
Betty Be Good Boutique coordinated with Deborah's Gate to supply Jenna with an online shopping credit. Jenna browsed bettybegood.ca just like other customers. Her new closet is now stocked with a pair of jeans, a fun summer top, two new spring dresses and two very handy cardigans. She was able to use these fashions for a recent part-time job interview and she's looking forward to wearing all her fashions on campus this summer.
Women who have escaped slavery leave everything behind to find new hope at Deborah's Gate. For every purchase at bettybegood.ca, Betty will donate 5% to her Liberty Closet. When you shop at bettybegood.ca you help women like Jenna with a fresh start and a new hope for the future.
Thank you to all of Betty's customers! You supported Jenna's fresh start!
