Spice Up Your Life!

This week's 'Choose Your Own' Betty Bag is inspired by the brit-pop girl sensation Spice Girls. No other iconic group embodied girl power like these five influencers of 90's culture.
Posh was the classic beauty while Sporty was the too-cool tomboy, Ginger was the sex-pot while Baby was the cutie pie and Scary rocked all the edgy looks. We wannabe just like one of them or all of them in some ways!

Spice Up Your Life with a Betty Bag inspired by one of these fashion icons...
When someone says 'she's so Posh'... it references Victoria Beckham and her classic, high end style. The classy diva of the Spice Girls stole our hearts with her sexy mini dresses and runway looks and she landed herself one of the most eligible bachelors in Britain Beckham himself!
Our Posh pick is this unique pom pom top in black... because nobody rocked black better than Posh. The sheer style flares at an elastic cuff on the loose sleeve. It's not too long so pairs with denim perfectly. We layered up this style with our scoop lined tank and added leopard accessories for extra flare Posh-style.
All you sporty babes can thank Mel C for her cool street style that reminded us that you don't have to be glammed out to be fashionable. Her tomboy vibes made us rummage through our brothers & boyfriends closet for track pants to pair with crop tops.
Sporty managed to mix glam and jam together for high impact street style and we're channeling this unique ribbed color block sweatshirt and leather leggings for this peppy Spice Girl. The sweatshirt is a playful style that fits loose and bands below the waistline for a fem fit. The leggings are high waisted and add edge to the whole look.
The sweetheart of the band was Emma, Baby Spice and nothing was more adorable than her cute pastel slip dresses and oversized platform sneakers. Add pigtails and you're the sweetest little baby of the Spice Girls.
Baby rocked the feminine looks and that's why we picked this puff sleeve Swiss top top. The buttons adorning the front of this cute sort sleeve sheer top make it a perfect style to half tuck or wear loose. We paired with a camisole to layer as the sheer material makes it flirty. She would have kept it sweet for that girl next door look.
Scary took all the fashion risks and the pay off was huge. She always stood out in the group for her wild prints and unique edgy style. Leopard, camo, geometrics... scary pulled them all off... but leopard was her 'go-to".
That's why our Scary inspired top is this edgy leopard sleeveless top. It's beautifully trimmed with lace along the spaghetti straps and neckline. The loose body is perfect for tucking into trousers, half tucking into jeans or wearing loose over leggings.
The flirty one of the bunch was Ginger... she always turned heads in her statement styles and no one can forget her Union Jack Dress! Gerry Halliwell, aka. Ginger was nothing if not sexy... her style was like a pin up princess with a modern 90's twist.
For Ginger we love the mix of playful prints on this sleeveless top that pairs with jeans and trousers alike. The mix of leopard, snake, zebra and alligator us a bright and playful style to wear all spring and summer. The lace on the neckline brings plenty of femininity to the top.
